The fireplace turbine 550 m3/h is an electrical device used in Hot Air Distribution systems. Its task is to press air from the fireplace chimney to the rooms that we want to heat. Thanks to the use of the turbine, we can heat objects that due to their size or the number of rooms are not able to be heated by a traditional - gravitational method. For ease of operation, the turbine is equipped with a thermostat that allows for smooth adjustment of the moment of turning on the device. This adjustment ranges from 25-90°C. The air from the fireplace housing is supplied to the turbine via an insulated wire. At the moment when the temperature of this air is equal to the temperature set by the user, the turbine switches on and works until the temperature exceeds the temperature set on the thermostat after the fireplace has gone out. Thanks to this solution, we obtain full automation of work, and the entire operation of the turbine after installation is limited to setting the appropriate temperature, switching the device on and to maintenance operations.

To protect against mechanical damage, the turbine housing is made of galvanized sheet. For better protection, the engine compartment is thermally insulated. Additional cooling is provided by an aluminum fan mounted on the motor axis. A radial fan is mounted at the other end of the motor axis. In order to ensure a long, trouble-free operation, the bearings of the axle bracket are made of bronze, which significantly increases the durability of the structure in relation to traditional solutions.

For correct system operation, the device parameters should be selected to the size of the system and the degree of complexity of the channels. Proper turbine selection will optimize camera performance and minimize power consumption to the system.

 

THE CHOICE OF THE DEVICE SHOULD DEPEND ON:

- the total cubic capacity of rooms to which we want to bring warm air;

- the number of points through which we supply warm air;

- predicted pressure losses in the hot air supply system (total length of insulated wires, number and type of fittings used in the installation, etc.).
